Hekāyāt-e Delpasand (Pleasant Tales)

Written by Mohammad Mehdi Vāsef Rezājouei in 1847, the book is based on Aesop’s Fables. The writer attributes the stories to King Solomon but mentions the fact that it was translated from Greek into French and other European languages and used as an educational resource for schools.
