Description
The book is a translation of some English tales as well as Aesop’s Fables by Abd al-Hamid Ibn Abd ol-bāqi Thaqafi, known as Matin al-Saltaneh in 1901. The first sixteen chapters are advice to children about respecting their parents, righteousness, etc. The prose is well-phrased and coherent. The translator added some lines of poetry and pieces of advice to the original fables and tales.
